Contest Rules

 Eligibility:

Giveaway is open to Residents of British Columbia and Alberta aged 18+.

How to enter: 

2 Methods of entry are available: 1) Any Surewerx or Associated brands purchase of $75.00 or more before tax is (1) one entry 2) Write and submit via email a 250 word essay on why you choose Surewerx or Associated brands. Submission of (1) one essay is (1) one entry. Email to: contest@northernmetalic.com

Contest period:

The draw will open Friday, November 1st across all Branches at time of opening 0700 (MST). The contest will be open for ballot submission until Friday, February 28th at time of Branch closure 1700 (MST). Entries submitted before or after the Contest Period will be disqualified.

Prize Drawing:

Draw will be held on March 4th, 2025 at the Grande Prairie location.

Conditions:

Prior to receiving the prize, the winner must correctly answer a skill-testing question within 10 minutes.

Privacy notice:

Email entrants will have their email addresses stored in the designated inbox contest folder. By entering via email, consent is implied to be entered into an email database. Entries will be stored in ballot boxes at branch locations. Ballot entries who opt into our Email newsletter will be entered into an email database. Participants who wish to opt out of the Email newsletter will have their respective ballots destroyed. All Email newsletter recipients may unsubscribe at any time.

Alternate winner selection:

Due to the timely nature of the prize, if the selected winner is unable to receive the prize, leaves it unclaimed for 7 days, or refuses the prize, an alternate name will be drawn from the entrants.

Prize description:

The Prize is two tickets to the Calgary Flames at Edmonton Oilers on March 29th, a Two-Night stay at the JW Marriott Edmonton ICE District, and $1000.00 in prepaid Visa cards.

General prize conditions:

The winner is responsible for picking up said prize or making necessary arrangements for delivery of any digital tickets or reservations. We will not be held liable for delivery to incorrect digital addresses. Northern Metalic and Surewerx* will reserve the right to document on Social media and send out an email declaring the winner of said prize.

Products involved in the contest:

Products included in the “purchase option” of the giveaway are any purchases of brands associated with Surewerx that Northern Metalic offers. Please visit https://surewerx.com/s/#brands for a full listing.

Specific rules for Quebec:

The giveaway is not open to the province of Quebec.

A clause allowing the contest promoter to void or modify
the contest:

In the event of an Emergency Enactment by the Federal government, The Alberta Government, and/or The British Columbia Provincial Government or Natural Disaster, Northern Metalic reserves full permission to suspend or cancel the contest.

Liability limitations and releases:

Northern Metalic holds no responsibility for injury, loss of property, or loss of life coinciding with attendance at the Scheduled event or any travel associated with the winnings.
